Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Timetable

As the authority of the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) we have Officially released the ZIMSEC 2022/2023 Examinations timetable for candidates sitting for the examinations.

ZIMSEC Examination Timetable 2022

The timetables include Regulations on the Conduct of the examinations and Caution to candidates on acts that amount to examination malpractice.
Headteachers are requested to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to brief the candidates to follow these Regulations and that Caution is given.
Failure to comply with the regulations and caution indicated in the timetable shall lead to cancellation of results of a candidate or all candidates at the Center or disqualification from the examination.
Cases of examination malpractice that can lead to disqualification, cancellation of results, or arrest of a candidate have been spelled out on the timetable.
Parents are also advised to take a keen interest in the timetable to support the candidates in every way possible.

When will the ZIMSEC Examination Begins

This year’s Zimbabwe school examinations will commence on Monday, September 19, 2022, for both Ordinary O-Level and Advanced A-Level. The Grade 7 examinations will commence from Monday, September 26, 2022, to Monday, October 10, 2022.

The council appeals to head teachers to conduct these personal briefings for candidates. The council has noted, that where cases of irregularities and malpractice have been noted, the root causes have often been that candidates would have been poorly briefed, or not briefed at all.
