David Bunbun Uwumborlame popularly known as NECTAR is a Training Officer at the Winneba Technical Institute and a Research Assistant at the University of Education, Winneba.
David was born on the 23rd of April, 1997 in Dambai, Oti Region. He is the second born of his parents and the first male born. He lost his biological mother when he was still in Primary school. Currently, His father is a retired Headteacher.
He started his early grade at Ebenezer Preparatory School in Dambai and later took a transfer to Holy Rosary Roman Catholic School where he continued with grade 6 and later wrote his BECE exam there in 2013.
He proceeded to Kadjebi-Asato Senior High for his senior high Education and wrote the WASSCE. He obtained certificates in the fields of ICT, MS Suit, Photoshop, Leadership, and Legal Studies.
In 2017, he gained admission into the University of Education, Winneba, where he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Social Studies.
He is currently pursuing his Masters of Philosophy (MPhil Special Education) in Winneba. His research interest is Inclusive Education, Psychology, and Multiple Disabilities.
David is an outstanding Youth activist. During his first degree, he was a member of the Electoral committee, later he became the Vice-President of his Department and was elected as the President. He served the SRC, National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), and Various Campus Groups.
He is a member of the Model of the United Nations Youth Association-Ghana, the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), and An Alumni of the YALI Cohort 40.
Earlier in 2022, He was nominated to participate in the 4th Edition of the World Youth Forum in Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh.
During the Forum, he won the Rowad 2030 competition. He served as the Chairman for countless committees. He volunteered both locally and Internationally.
Aside from his leadership roles, he is a Motivational speaker and a counselor.
As a versatile Player, he seeks to change society regardless.
