Buckinghamshire New University, BNU Blackboard
To submit course work you will need to use TurnitinUK which is also accessed from BNU Blackboard. All students and staff have access to the BNU Blackboard and once you have received your BNU username and password, you are ready to log in.
With the BNU Blackboard, you have access to announcements from your tutor, key dates, module information, and reference guides.
BNU Blackboard provides a one-stop shop for all your course materials. Depending on your module, it may also be used for the following:
- Discussion Forums
- Hosting and management of online assessments
- Collaborative areas for group work with communication and file-sharing facilities
- Online submission of student work
- Embedding multimedia content
- Links to external resources
How to Access BNU Blackboard
- Explore the BNU Blackboard via my.bucks.ac.uk
- Locate and click on Login at the top right corner of the page to proceed
- Click on the “Sign in” button to proceed
- Type in your Username and Password
- Click on the “Log in” button to proceed
Username for BNU students (including Partner College students): This is your BNU email, which is your student ID, then @bucks.ac.uk (e.g. [email protected])
Username for BNU staff: This is your Bucks email, which is your First Name. Last Name then @bucks.ac.uk (e.g. [email protected])
Username for Partner Staff: This is the username provided to you upon account creation, which is your First Name. Last Name then @partner.bucks.ac.uk (e.g. [email protected])
How to reset the BNU Blackboard password
- Access the password reset page via mypassword.bucks.ac.uk
- On this page scroll down, locate, and click on the “Reset your password” button to proceed
- Type in your Email address
- Click Next to proceed
- Select the “I’ve forgotten password button”
- Next, you need to verify your account with options (Email text, Phone text or phone call)
- You choose your option and click on next
- Your verification code will be sent to your selected option, (Email text, Phone text, or phone call)
- Enter your verification code and click on the “Next” button to proceed
- Type in your new password and retype it again to verify.
- Click on the “finished” button to proceed
