Brightspace Pulse is a mobile app that can help learners stay connected and on track with their courses in Brightspace. It provides one easy view of course calendars, readings, assignments, evaluations, grades, and announcements. The app can help learners make better decisions about how to handle workload when to submit assignments, and when to prepare for tests. Real-time alerts can let learners know when classes are canceled, rooms are moved, or new/updated course content and grades are made available. The schedule view and weekly visualization provide learners with a quick, at-a-glance view of what is due today, this week, and later in the term across all their courses.

D2L Brightspace Pulse
Use Brightspace Pulse to do the following:
- See all the important dates and deadlines for each course
- Anticipate the busiest times with a quick glance
- Receive the latest grades, course content, and announcements
- Enter events and deadlines
- View courses and course content
- Seamlessly log in to Brightspace via a browser to complete tasks
All students will be able to access D2L Brightspace once they have been enrolled in their units/modules. Resit information for students is available here. With the Brightspace Pulse, you have access to announcements from your tutor, key dates, module information, and reference guides
Once you have logged into the D2L Brightspace your personalized selection of functionality will be displayed in a variety of modules (or boxes), each holding a different categorized piece of information or functionality.
How to create Brightspace Pulse
- Access the D2L Brightspace Communirty login page
- Locate and click on ‘sign up to proceed
- Type in your email address and click on the ‘verification’ button to verify your email address
- Fill in the required spaces with the correct details
- Check the box
- Click on the ‘create’ button to proceed
How to Login to Brightspace Pulse
- Access the D2L Brightspace Community Login page via login.community.d2l
- Type in your email and password
- Click on the “sign in “button to proceed
How to Reset Brightspace Pulse Password
- Access the D2L Brightspace Community Login page
- Locate and click on the ‘Reset your password’ to proceed
- Type in your email address
- Click on the ‘send verification code’ button to get your code.
