BMU Post-UTME Screening Portal

Discover the Bayelsa Medical University – BMU Post-UTME/DE Screening Portal and login to complete an online application form. Candidates who wish to be admitted into Bayelsa Medical University and scored a minimum of 140 and above in this year’s UTME/DE are hereby invited to apply for the 2025.

Eligibility

• Candidates with the relevant certificates such as B.Sc/HND/ND/NCE/A’Level (IJMB, JUPEB, and Institute of Baccalaureate) the certificate may be considered for admission by Direct Entry.
• BMU also admits students from other universities with the appropriate CGPA through Inter-University Transfer.
• All Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, and are further advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.
• Candidates are advised to regularly visit our website www.bmu.edu.ng for an update on their admission status.
• Cut-off marks of 200 and above are required for entry into the fields of medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
• The nursing field accepts applicants with a cut-off mark of 170 or above.
• Cut-off marks of a score of 140 and above are required for the fields of medical laboratory science, public health, community health, physiotherapy, optometry, human nutrition and dietetics, human anatomy, human physiology, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, physics with electronics, mathematics, statistics, and microbiology.

How to Apply for BMU Post UTME Screening Portal

The screening exercise for all candidates would be done strictly ONLINE by a screening of the qualifying results of candidates. There shall be no Post UTME candidates are therefore expected to:

7. Birth Certificate/Statutory Declaration of Age Certificate
8. Certificate of Origin
9. Passport Photograph
