Akrokerri College of Education Entry Requirement

The general requirements for WASSCE Applicant’s admission to ACE are as follows:

WASSCE Holders: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in six (6)subjects comprising three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
SSSCE Holders: PASSES (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three 3 Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
Candidates awaiting the MAY/JUNE, WASSCE, and NABPTEX results can apply.

The general requirements for GCE Applicant’s admission to ACE are as follows:

Have passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
Have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, a Science subject (for conscience students), and an Arts subject (for Science students)

The general requirements for ABCE Applicant’s admission to the ACE are as follows:

Have passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of the passes should be D or better).
Have credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies in the General.
Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).

The general requirements for TVET Applicant’s admission to the ACE are as follows:

Possess Certificate II in three (3) relevant trade areas awarded by TEU, NVTI, City & Guilds, and other authorized awarding bodies in addition to the NABPTEX Certificate II in lieu of passes in English and mathematics.
I have a NABPTEX certificate II in relevant trade areas, and three (3) credit passes in WASSCE/SSSCE core subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Posses a National Certificate II qualification in Competency-Based Training (CBT) in a relevant trade area awarded by TEU on the National TVET Qualification Framework (NTVETQF).

Below are the steps to obtain the Akrokerri College of Education Admission Form:

Obtain an Application Voucher from the Post Office or any of the following Banks/Sources: GCB Bank, Agric. Development Bank (ADB), Ecobank, Zenith Bank, Unibank, Fidelity Bank, Republic Bank, and VISA Credit/Debit Card.
International Students should use a VISA card.

To apply for Akrokerri College of Education Admission, follow the steps below:

Visit the ACE Admission Portal: www.ace.edu.gh.
Then, tap on the Admissions scroll and the “Apply For Admission” button on the page.
Afterwards, Log In with your Voucher Serial Number and PIN
Then, fill out the ACE online application form and submit it online.
