KNUST Scholarship Opportunities 2021/2022 -2023

Find out here all the scholarship opportunities available at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – KNUST. All applicants who apply via KNUST Admission Portal and have checked the Admission List can now apply for KNUST Scholarship.

KNUST Scholarship

The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with support from Edu Fondazione, Mark Foundation, Hulede Foundation, and Educational Pathways International offers scholarships opportunity to Brilliant but Needy Students from all disciplines in KNUST to enable them to pursue their University Education.

General Requirements for all KNUST Scholarships

All Prospective Applicants are to include the following documents;

  1. Admission Letter
  2. Acceptance Letter
  3. WASSCE Certificate
  4. High School Transcripts or All Terminal Reports
  5. Recommendation Letters or Testimonial
  6. Awards and Certificates (If Any)
  7. All Applicants should provide proof of need.
  8. Continuing student applicants should also add their complete University Academic Transcripts or result slip signed and stamped by Heads of Department (only), (including current – Second Semester results).
  9. CONTINUING STUDENTS who are beneficiaries of other scholarships are not eligible to apply.

Education Fondazione Scholarships

Education Fondazione in Collaboration with KNUST is offering scholarships to brilliant but needy students at the university to help them pursue their education successfully.

Eligibility:

The Scholarship is open to only First (1st) year students pursuing a full-time programme in the University.

All applicants must be Ghanaian Regular students.

Applicants should not be a beneficiary of another Scholarship Scheme at the time of applying.

  • Renewal – On or before Friday, 28th January 2022 at 4.00 pm
  • Fresh Applicants – On or before Friday, 21st January 2022 at 4.00 pm

Mark Foundation Scholarship scheme

Mark Foundation is a Scholarship scheme that offers a one-year scholarship to female students in the KNUST School of Business to enable them to pursue their University Education.

Eligibility:

The Scholarship is open to all Ghanaian female students in their first year who have gained admission to the KNUST School of Business with an aggregate of not more than 10.

  • Closing Date for Submission: Applicants are to submit their applications on or before Friday, February 11, 2022, by 4:00 pm.

Hulede Foundation Scholarship

The Hulede Foundation is a foundation offering a One-year Scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students from all disciplines in KNUST to enable them to pursue their University Education.

Eligibility:

The Scholarship is open to all KNUST students who are Brilliant but Needy and are in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year pursuing the full-time programme.

The minimum grade for prospective continuing applicants must be at least Second Class Upper. First-year applicants should have a WASSCE result /aggregate of at least Fifteen (15).

Educational Pathways International Scholarship

Educational Pathways International is a foundation that offers a full-time Scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them to pursue their University Education in KNUST.

Eligibility:

The Scholarship is open to all Ghanaian students in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, who are Brilliant but Needy Students of KNUST and are pursuing a full-time programme.

The minimum grade for prospective continuing student applicants must be at least strong Second Class Upper. First-year applicants should have a WASSCE result /aggregate of at least nine (9).

Closing Date for Submission

  • Applications are to be submitted on or before Friday 21st January 2022 at 4.00 pm for both the continuing and fresh students.

Application Procedures

Here are all the procedures required to complete all the above mention scholarships at KNUST.

  1. All documents must be in a sealed envelope with the Applicant’s name, programme, and reference number is boldly written on it.
  2. Submission of documents should be done at the Student Affairs and Financial Services (Room 19) at the Dean of Students’ Office, J Harper Building.
  3. Any write-up should be typed with the font Times New Roman, size 12, and double-spaced.
  4. No Application will be accepted after the deadline. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.
