Western Delta University offers admission into its undergraduate programmes via three routes: The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), Direct Entry into 200 Level for Students who have acquired A’Level qualifications, and Inter-university transfers

Candidates are to visit the JAMB Portal to change their University of choice and Programme of studies to Western Delta University, WDU.
UTME Admission
The minimum academic requirement is credit level passes in five (5) subjects at O’Level in nationally recognized examinations obtained at not more than two sittings; such a candidate must, in addition, have an acceptable score in the UTME.
Direct Entry
Prospective students should have one of the following:
- A diploma certificate and credit passes in five (5) papers at O’Level
- Two (2) papers at Principal or Advanced Level in HSC or GCE in addition to the above O’Level requirement.
- An acceptable first degree.
Inter-university Transfers
Students with relevant qualifications may transfer from a recognized University, after having completed their first year with acceptable grades and fulfilled other criteria set by our University.
