The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has scheduled the conduct of the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) in June 2021. The 2021 PHC will be Ghana’s first digital population and housing census, following previous censuses that were less underscored with information and technological innovations. Besides, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has scheduled a date for training all field officers (Enumerators and Supervisors) for the commencement of the 2021 Population and Housing Census.

When will 2021 PHC field officer’s training begins
Information revealed that the final shortlisted enumerators will be announced in the coming weeks. Also, training of field officers will begin on May 31, 2021.
Besides, the management of the service stated that from Wednesday, May 5, 2021, there will be an ongoing general screening exercise for all shortlisted enumerators and supervisors across the district level. Therefore, applicants are to note that the final selections of field officers will be assessed on the field officer’s Manual and the field trainer’s guide as well as the following documents.
